Use Saved Views on Client Detail Tables

Save search, sorting, columns, filters, and page size for frequently used client-table and compliance-framework views, then share or set a view as your default.

Scopable Team3 min read

Prerequisites

  • Access to at least one supported client detail table or compliance framework page

Saved views keep a useful table setup so you can return to it without rebuilding the same filters and columns. They are available on the Configurations, Locations, Tasks, Opportunities, and Quotes tabs within a client, and on the compliance tables under Compliance & GRC: Frameworks, Risks, Gaps, Action Plans, and Vendor Register.

What a saved view keeps

A saved view can keep:

  • Search text.
  • Sort order.
  • Visible columns and column order.
  • Page size.
  • Supported filters for that table.

Saved views do not change record access. A shared view helps other users apply the same table settings, but each person only sees records they already have permission to view.

Create a saved view

  1. Open a supported tab on a client, or a Compliance & GRC table.
  2. Set the search, filters, sorting, columns, and page size you want.
  3. Open the saved-view selector.
  4. Select the option to save the current view.
  5. Enter a clear name and save it.

Choose a name that describes the result, such as Open opportunities by value or Inactive configurations.

Apply or update a view

Open the saved-view selector and choose a view to apply its stored table settings.

If you own the view, change the table settings and update the view to replace its stored configuration. If you do not own a shared view, duplicate it first and edit your copy.

Duplicate, share, or delete a view

Open a view's menu to manage it:

  • Duplicate View creates a separate copy you can rename and edit.
  • Share with team makes the view available to other users on your Scopable account.
  • Delete removes the saved view. This does not delete any table records.

The owner controls changes to a shared view. Other users can apply it without taking ownership.

Set a default view

Choose Set as default when a saved view should load automatically for you on that table. Defaults are personal. Setting your default does not change another user's starting view.

Saved views can be reused across clients for the same tab type. A view created for one client's Configurations tab can be applied to another client's Configurations tab when the same table features are available. The same applies to a client's compliance Risks, Gaps, Action Plans, and Vendor Register tables.

Client-level Quote and Opportunity views are kept separate from the top-level Quotes and Opportunities pages. This prevents a client-specific table setup from changing the broader tenant-wide list.

The tenant-wide Compliance & GRC → Frameworks table keeps its own saved views, separate from any client's compliance tables.

Return to the standard view

Clear the applied saved view or reset the table controls to return to the standard setup. On Configurations, the standard view includes the active-record filter.

Troubleshooting

A view is missing on another table

Saved views belong to a table type. A Configurations view does not appear on Quotes, and client-level Quote or Opportunity views do not appear on the top-level pages.

I cannot update a shared view

You may not own it. Use Duplicate View, then edit and save your copy.

A teammate sees fewer rows than I do

Saved views do not grant record access. The teammate's existing permissions still control which records appear.

My default view did not load

Confirm that the view still exists and belongs to the table you opened. If its filters depend on a feature that is no longer available, update or replace the saved view.
