Using the Products Page: Global Product Search

The Products page gives you one place to search every product source you work with, instead of switching tabs per distributor. It's currently in Alpha, available at app.scopable.io/dashboard/products for a limited group of Scopable accounts. If you don't see it yet, it isn't turned on for your account.

If you haven't connected your distributors yet, start with the Pax8, Ingram Micro, or TD SYNNEX setup guides. Most of what shows up on the Products page comes from those connections.

What the Products page does

From a single search bar, the Products page looks across:

• Your managed catalog: products synced from ConnectWise Manage or Halo PSA, plus any products you've added manually.
• Ingram Micro: catalog and pricing from your connected Ingram Micro account.
• Pax8: catalog and pricing from your connected Pax8 account.
• TD SYNNEX: catalog and pricing from your connected TD SYNNEX account.
• CDW: catalog and pricing from your connected CDW account.

Every result shows which source it came from, so you can tell a managed catalog item from a distributor result at a glance.

Searching for products

1. Go to app.scopable.io/dashboard/products.
2. Type a product name, SKU, or keyword into the search bar.
3. Results populate from every source you have connected, with the source, product name, and price shown on each row.
4. Use the source filter to narrow results to a single source, for example just Pax8 or just your managed catalog, when you already know where a product lives.

Cost and margin visibility

Where a connected source provides cost data, the Products page shows it alongside the sell price so you can see margin before a product ever reaches a quote. What cost data is visible depends on what each source exposes and your account's pricing permissions.

Manual products

Not everything comes from a distributor or PSA sync. You can add a manual product directly from the Products page for one-off items, custom services, or anything outside your connected sources. Manual products appear in search results alongside synced and distributor products.

When a source is temporarily unavailable

If one distributor can't be reached during a search (a timeout or an authentication issue on their end), the Products page still returns results from your other connected sources and marks the affected source as unavailable instead of failing the whole search.

What's supported right now

The Products page Alpha currently searches:

• Managed catalog (ConnectWise Manage, Halo PSA, and manually added products)
• Ingram Micro
• Pax8
• TD SYNNEX
• CDW

Other distributors aren't part of this Alpha yet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't I see the Products page?

It's in Alpha and only available to a limited group of accounts right now. It isn't part of general availability yet, so most Scopable accounts won't see it in navigation until that changes.

Do I need to connect every distributor to use it?

No. The Products page searches whatever sources you already have connected. If you only use a managed catalog, that's what you'll see, and results grow as you connect more distributors.

Does this replace product search inside the Quote Wizard?

The Products page is a dedicated home for browsing and searching products outside of an active quote. It draws on the same connected sources you already use inside the Quote Wizard, including Pax8 subscriptions alongside hardware.

What happens if a distributor search fails?

The Products page shows results from your working sources and flags the source that failed, instead of blocking the whole search.

Will more distributors be added?

The current Alpha covers managed catalog plus Ingram Micro, Pax8, TD SYNNEX, and CDW. Additional sources may be added as the Products page moves toward general availability. For how this fits into the wider quoting picture, see our MSP quoting software comparison.
