Live PSA integration

ConnectWise integration for MSP quoting.

Scopable uses ConnectWise Manage data so a quote can start from the client, opportunity, contacts, configurations, and catalog context your MSP already keeps in the PSA.

Built for MSP owners, vCIOs, sales operators, and technical validators who need to know exactly what the connection reads, what it writes, and where the edge cases live.

Exact supported scope

What the ConnectWise integration actually does.

This is the commercial view of the integration. The setup guide remains the source for credentials, permissions, screenshots, and troubleshooting.

Records Scopable reads

Companies, contacts, opportunities, configurations, and product catalog data from ConnectWise Manage.

Quote-linked write-back

Write-back is limited to quote-linked opportunity fields: value, probability, stage, close date, and contact.

Credential handling

Public and private API keys are entered through setup. The private key is stored in Scopable's Vault and is not saved in plain text.

Sync behavior

Initial sync shows progress. Manual syncs can run per data type or for all enabled data, and ConnectWise webhook events can trigger updates.

Product state checked 2026-07-20. Knowledge Base source last updated 2026-06-22. Any broader ConnectWise write path should be treated as unverified until it appears in the setup guide or product release notes.

Data-flow proof

From ConnectWise records to quote-ready context.

The flow below uses the public setup guide as its source. It shows data movement without inventing a product screen or exposing tenant data.

Step 1

Create credentials

Use a ConnectWise Integrator Login, base server URL, Company ID, public key, and private key.

Step 2

Set the security role

Create a dedicated API role and give each ConnectWise area the access the enabled sync paths require.

Step 3

Choose data and filters

Select record types and optional company filters such as types, statuses, territories, and markets.

Step 4

Run sync and inspect skips

Scopable shows sync progress and logs skipped records when dependencies, such as matching companies, are missing.

Step 5

Use context in the quote path

Client, contact, opportunity, configuration, and catalog context can inform scope, products, review, and quote follow-up.

Limits

The limits matter more than the logo.

Scopable is not a ConnectWise replacement. ConnectWise remains the PSA and source system for PSA records.
General write operations from Scopable to ConnectWise are not enabled. Write-back is limited to quote-linked opportunity fields.
Contacts only import for companies already synced into Scopable. Opportunities need a matching company or they are logged as skipped.
ConnectWise Manage and HaloPSA cannot both be active as the PSA integration for the same account.
If your tenant is moving to PSA powered by Asio, confirm API member and security role behavior before relying on production data.

Security review

What the technical validator should check.

  • Use the base ConnectWise URL, not the full API path.
  • Match the Company ID exactly to the ConnectWise login Company ID.
  • Use a dedicated API member and security role for Scopable.
  • Keep the private key out of tickets, docs, and screenshots.
  • Review skipped record logs after the first sync before quoting from the data.

ConnectWise questions

Test the ConnectWise path with a real client record.

The trial should answer the practical question: does ConnectWise context make the scope, product list, review, and quote easier to trust?
